New York – Aaron Judge, with 29, ties Joe DiMaggio for most home runs by a rookie in NY Yankees history. DiMaggio hit 29 home runs in 1936.  Judge is one of three rookies in MLB history to hit 28 or more HRs prior to the All-Star break since 1933 (Mark McGwire-33, Jose Abreu-29)

Judge hit his 29th home run in the bottom of the fourth inning off Toronto’s Marco Estrada.

Judge is four home runs ahead of Houston’s George Springer (25) for the ML lead. Alex Rodriguez was the last Yankee to lead the league in home runs with 54 in 2007.
